Topographic Map - Barðaströnd

The Topographic maps are one of the most extensive map publication projects ever undertaken in Iceland. The entire country, from the highest peaks to the outermost headlands and islands, is depicted in 31 splendid maps at the scale of 1:100 000. The maps are highly detailed, with a total of more than 43,000 placenames. Using digital technology, the landscape is shown in astonishing detail, providing a bird's-eye view of the height of mountains, the depth of valleys, and the wide open spaces of the interior.
